Artkrush already ran a News story about Damien Hirst's $100 million diamond skull, which would be part of his upcoming show at White Cube; thus, we didn't want to repeat that information when we could be offering our readers something new and equally exciting.

Why did you cover a show at Govett-Brewster Gallery in New Plymouth, New Zealand, when there's no possible way I can get there?

Artkrush is designed not only for the compulsive gallery-goer, but also for the armchair traveler. We cover art and design from Beijing to Berlin because we want our readers to feel tapped in to shows and events worldwide.

Why don't you cover classical and ancient art?

Artkrush's mission is to present the latest information on contemporary art and design. We often feature news stories on moderrnist works, but we feel that historical work is better adressed in scholarly print publications.
